Privacy & Cookie Policy

Green Empire Landscaping · Last Updated: October 9, 2026

Green Empire Landscaping, operated by GREEN EMPIRE LANDSCAPING LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our website, services, and communications. By using our website or providing your information, you consent to this policy.

If you have questions, contact us at [email protected]. See also our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you visit our website, request a quote, schedule a service, or contact us:

Information You Provide:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Service address and property details (for example, property type, approximate size, and the work you want done)
  • Your preferred days or times, and any notes, messages, or photos you send us
  • Quote and job information, such as the services you request, estimates, and invoices

Automatically Collected Information:

  • Device and browser details
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and the website or ad that brought you to us
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4)

We do not collect payment card numbers through the forms on this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and prepare quotes and estimates
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on landscaping and lawn-care services
  • Send invoices and keep accounting and job records
  • Communicate with you by phone, text message, and email, as described in this policy
  • Improve our website and services, and measure and improve our advertising
  • Protect our website and business from fraud and abuse, and comply with the law

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers that help us run the business, such as GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which provides our forms, booking tools, text messaging, email, phone, and chat; Jobber, which we use for quotes, scheduling, and job records; QuickBooks, which we use for invoicing and accounting; Mailmunch, which provides email sign-up tools; Google, which provides address suggestions in our forms; and Cloudflare, which provides website security, bot protection on our forms, and delivery
  • Analytics and advertising platforms, such as Google (including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, and Microsoft Clarity, as described in Section 4
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others
  • Business changes: if the business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner

Mobile information and text-message consent are handled separately, as described in Section 5.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and personalize your experience. They help us:

  • Keep the website secure and functional
  • Measure traffic and visitor behavior (for example, Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager), and understand how people use our pages, including through session recordings and heatmaps from Microsoft Clarity
  • Provide relevant advertising and measure its results via platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • Connect your visit to your inquiry: we set a first-party visitor identifier (kept for up to 90 days), and when you open a form or booking tool the page address (which may include that identifier) is passed into it. We may also keep a record linking that identifier to your approximate location, device details, and the advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters in the page address, for up to 90 days
  • Show a phone number that matches how you found us (for example, a different number for visitors from an ad than from a search), so we can tell which marketing leads to calls

Our forms, booking tools, and chat are provided by GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) and run inside our pages.

To measure whether our advertising leads to inquiries, we may send advertising platforms (such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn) information about your inquiry and how it progresses (for example, that you requested a quote or accepted one), together with ad-click identifiers. Your email address and phone number are sent only in hashed (scrambled) form, never in readable form. Google and Meta also receive your name only in hashed form, and Meta may receive your IP address and browser details. LinkedIn may receive your first and last name in readable form together with a hashed email address. We do not send them your text-message content or your text-message consent records.

Your privacy choices. Use the "Your privacy choices" link on any page of our site (or in the notice at the bottom of the page) to turn advertising and analytics cookies off. When you do, we stop loading our advertising and analytics tools for your visits, we stop setting our visitor identifier, and we do not send your inquiry to advertising platforms to measure our ads. Your choice is saved in a cookie on your device for 12 months. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser or device sends it, we treat it as a request to turn those cookies off, without any further action from you. Cookies that are needed to run the site, and our forms, booking tools, and chat, keep working. You can also make this request by emailing [email protected].

You can also disable cookies through your browser settings, and manage advertising preferences in your Google, Meta, and LinkedIn account ad settings. Please note that some site features may not function properly without cookies.

5. SMS/Text Messaging Opt-In

If you choose to opt in to text communications, we may send messages related to:

  • Quote requests and estimates, availability, and scheduling
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates (including weather-related changes)
  • Invoices, payment reminders, and follow-up about completed work

If you separately choose to receive marketing messages, we may also send seasonal offers, discounts, and promotions.

Text messaging consent is collected through separate, optional, unchecked checkboxes and is not a condition of purchasing any service.

No mobile information or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers, such as our messaging platform and mobile carriers, may process mobile information only as needed to deliver the messages.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP, or contact us at (469) 645-0400 or [email protected]. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For the full program terms, see our Terms of Service.

6. Email and Phone Communications

Email. We use your email address to respond to your inquiry, send quotes, scheduling details, and invoices, and, where you have agreed, send marketing or promotional emails. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to [email protected] to opt out.

Phone. If you submit a form with your phone number, we may call you about your inquiry. To ask us not to call, tell the caller, call (469) 645-0400, or email [email protected].

Call recording. Calls with our team may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping. Transcripts may be analyzed with artificial intelligence tools provided by our service providers to evaluate and improve our service. If you do not want to be recorded, tell the caller and we will end the recording where we are able to.

7. Automated Assistants (AI Chat)

We may use an automated chat assistant on our website, powered by artificial intelligence, to answer questions and help with inquiries. Conversations may be recorded, transcribed, and stored, and the content is processed by service providers that operate the assistant and our communication tools.

Please do not enter sensitive information in chat or on calls, such as Social Security numbers, bank or payment card numbers, passwords, or health information. You can ask for a person at any time.

8. Photos and Property Information

If you send us photos of your property, or our crews photograph a property before, during, or after a job, we keep them with your job record so we can quote, perform, and document the work. We store them in our job-management and cloud storage systems. We may use photos of our completed work to show examples of what we do only where they do not identify you or your address, or where you have agreed.

9. Data Retention & Security

  • We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires (for example, tax and accounting records), and visitor-tracking records are kept for up to 90 days.
  • We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

  • Access, update, or delete your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing or targeted advertising
  • Request details on how your data is used

To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law requires, and if we decline a request you can ask us to review that decision.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy & Cookie Policy to reflect changes in practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date.
